The INTERNATIONAL CONDUCTORS COLLECTIVE (ICC) will present an Intensive Conductors’ Workshop with MAESTRO LIOR SHAMBADAL “Preparing Auditions” held between September 26 - 30, 2016 with the PAZARDZHIK STATE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, Bulgaria. The Workshop focuses on repertoire frequently seen on international conducting auditions and competitions. In previous editions ICC had featured masterclasses by Grigor Palikarov and Jorma Panula.
The INTERNATIONAL CONDUCTORS COLLECTIVE (ICC) will select up to ten (10) conductors as active participants only and several passive participants. It is advised each active participant have general knowledge of all works and prepare up to 2-3 works to be worked on in their podium time under the guidance of MAESTRO LIOR SHAMBADAL. From these works ICC will select the repertoire for a shared Run-Through Performance on the last day Friday, September 30, 2016.
Participation in the workshop is without age Limit for applicants. Total podium time is over 2 hours.

Tuition for the INTERNATIONAL CONDUCTORS COLLECTIVE (ICC) INTENSIVE WORKSHOP “PREPARING AUDITIONS” for Active Participants is 2000€ (and for Passive Participants is 500€). There is also a 50€ nonrefundable application fee for all applicants both Active and Passive. The tuition includes podium time, video analysis and accommodations. Participants are housed at the Pazardzhik Primavera Hotel, which includes breakfast. All other meals are the responsibility of the participant. All orchestra sessions will be video recorded and the videos will be analyzed daily. Personal SD cards are the responsibility of the participant. Suggested is to bring two (2) new non-formatted cards for personal use. Participants are advised bring their own cameras for personal use.
Pazardzhik is located 100 km from Sofia Airport. Shuttles for participants from Sofia can be arranged for €30 per Shuttle (max 3 person per shuttle). Please inform us of your arrival time and flight company latest 1 week before the workshop begins.
The course will be taught primarily in English and German and secondarily Swedish or Danish for Scandinavian participants.
